The vision of this group is to provide a forum to discuss experiences, opinions and
ideas in relation to using psychometric tests. Most test publishers will tell you
that their tests are the best - but clearly they have varying levels of quality,
and are suitable for different purposes.
When first using psychometric tests, it can be a confusing experience - different
types of test, paper-based or online, short or long tests, different difficulty levels,
for different audiences. And of course there is often a lot of information available
about each test’s psychometric properties in terms of test reliability and validity.
Fortunately there is a wealth of experience in all of the test users - especially
those who work in Human Resources or Consultancy. This forum will enable those with
more knowledge to share it with those with less, so that more people will realise
the benefits of psychometric testing, when used correctly.
